This month’s project was to remove the multiple layers of floor coating, fill the cracks and divots and top coat with a urethane that will give the coating flexibility in this older building.We had a concern of moisture permeating through the concrete, so we wanted to make sure the proper primer was used to eliminate this concern. We also wanted to make sure all the coating was removed and provide the proper profile, so the intermediate coating would impregnate into the concrete.

The proper power source was not available to run an electric grinder. So, this was accomplished with our state of the art propane grinder and HEPA vacuum recovery system. Management was interested in a long lasting, aesthetically appealing finish, an anti-slip, an easy to clean and maintain surface. I think we successfully provided all of these to satisfy management.
